About This brand
In 1978 when I, Dan Sardegna, reported to Basic Underwater Demolition/Seal training in San Diego, I arrived with two primary articles or personal property, my bicycle, for which I had a lock, and my surfboard for which I did not. The bike lasted but my surfboard was stolen within two weeks. Over the years I pondered how I could make my surfboard at least as secure as my bike, the result was Dockslocks.
From there, Dockslocks has grown into one of the most trusted names in surfboard and stand up paddleboard security. Dockslocks is dedicated to eliminating board theft through education and prevention. We believe no matter what kind of board you own, everyone deserves the peace of mind that Dockslocks provides.
