In 2007, while running a private family practice in San Francisco, Dr. Dolhun grew tired of prescribing poor tasting rehydration solutions to his patients. He set out to create a new formula that his patients might actually drink; one that combined efficacy with great taste.
By 2010, Dr. Dolhun had perfected his formula for DripDrop, the first ORS to combine medical grade hydration and excellent taste. After a few years distributing DripDrop in relief settings, we recognized that an American healthcare system that favors expensive, invasive IV therapy to treat dehydration was ripe for disruption.
