Measure around the widest point of your hips and buttocks.
Start at inner shoulder, come down the front of the torso and go between the legs. Continue up the back to the start of the tape on the shoulder.

I prefer long hair caps to completely cover my hair as well as my ears. This cap is snug fitting, but not too tight. The caps are not supposed to keep the hair from getting wet, but my hair doesn't get soaking wet. The ends of my braid stay fairly dry.
